BALAYAGE & OMBRE
Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep". This technique looks like natural sun-kissed highlights throughout the hair. Ombre is the gradual blending of one color hue to another, usually from light to dark.
HIGHLIGHTS & LOWLIGHTS
Highlights use colors that are lighter than your natural shade and lowlights involve darkening strands of hair by using colors that are darker than your natural shade. Either can be used to create definition & dimension in the hair. This technique adds the illusion of fullness to the hair.

Hair coloring are mainly for cosmetic reasons: to cover grey or white hair, to change to a color regarded as more fashionable or desirable and to restore original hair color.
